Stepping Into 33 ✨

As I step into 33, I want to pause and reflect on all that has unfolded.

This past year has been filled with confusion, doubt, and disruption. Yet, through it all, I have seen God’s hand at work in my life.

He plucked me out of a job I had idolized and placed me in a new, less permanent role not to punish me, but to teach me to rely fully on Him. Slowly, sometimes painfully, He’s been pruning the parts of me that don’t reflect the fruits of the Spirit.

One of the biggest miracles I’ve witnessed is reconciliation in my family my brother and father finding peace again. Something I thought impossible… yet God made a way.

He has also been expanding my heart. For the first time, I’ve realized that God desires for me to experience marriage, children, and romantic love. It’s something I never thought was meant for me, but knowing it’s part of His plan gives me hope even though the how and when remain unclear.

God has been teaching me to let go of money as an idol and to trust Him as my Provider. He’s been showing me the value of community and Godly friendships, even though I’m still learning how to walk that path.

But I’m not going to pretend it’s all victories. I still wrestle with small obediences,  gluttony, lying, talking too much, and the biggest of all, lust. I stumble often. And yet, God’s grace continues to meet me.

More than anything, I’m learning the importance of pausing. Of taking life one day at a time.

My Prayer for Year 33 🙏

As I enter this new chapter, here’s what I’m praying for:

  • A deeper bond with God to love what He loves and hate what displeases Him.
  • Victory over my struggles and a heart fully surrendered to Him.
  • A permanent, fulfilling job.
  • To graduate with honors with my Master’s degree.
  • Friendships rooted in Christ.
  • To fall in love, get married, and start a family with a godly spouse chosen by God.
  • Christ-centered hobbies and interests.
  • Consistency in reading the Bible and daily devotion.
  • Unity, health, provision, and love in my family.
  • Consistency in going to church.
  • Discipline and self-control, especially with healthy eating and lifestyle.
  • Guidance, discernment, peace, strength, and wisdom.
  • To put God first in everything.
  • For every prayer on my prayer board to be answered in His perfect timing.

As I step into 33, I don’t have all the answers, but I know Who holds my future. And that is enough.
